About Us
The National Alliance of Women Veterans, Incorporated is established in 2006 and founded by women veterans of Philadelphia, PA; and have both active and reserve experiences. These leaders are committed to the work for enriching and empowering women veterans with contributions to legislation, policy research and community engagement.
The mission began with an experience that became a pathway to healing for thousands of victims of Military Sexual Trauma in 1993; when the Congressional Black Caucus Veterans BrainTrust led a victim to Congress to give a testimony that has changed lives forever. Here the journey begins to this research of historical significance and we're here to pioneer a path into the next generation for healing and wholeness.
